High School Sports: Playoff Power Rankings

(Power Rankings Document)

  1. Students will analyze the power rankings for each season.
  2. Students will evaluate the impact of a win, loss, tie, or opponent on Hanover and state rankings.

“This is busy work.” My goodness if you consider this busy work you might be misplaced in this class. Understanding a system that impacts you and your classmates directly seems to the antithesis of busy work. Students will include the rankings as part of the “My Senior Year” assignment.

Biggest Bracket Busters (our Divisions)

 

Fall Sports MIAA Power Rankings. List all the fall sports teams. Include division, rank, record. ALSO list other Patriot League team. (THE LAST HANOVER SECTIONAL CHAMPS – Boys Hockey Co (vid) State Champions.

Class of 2022: My Senior Year

This is the set of questions that will go with My Senior Year googledoc for the class of 2022. We will be referencing excerpts from My Senior Year for a variety of assigments.

September 2021

  1. My Bucket List (Add a hyperlink to the assignment we completed at the start of the year) List items you have completed. If you have not completed any, why not get going. Remeber Lou Holtz has completed the majority of his list.
  2. SEPTEMBER bullet list – create a bullet list of 5- 10 sports (or non-sports if you need too) related events in your life. It can include New England events, Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, Revolution, Hanover events (specator or particpant), World Events – boxing, etc.
